Weird Standby Problem: Every second time I go to standby-mode, it locks up

For hardware config, check my link in the sig. I'm using Win2k, and really every second time I go in to standby mode, the computer hangs where it says "preparing for standby-mode". Anyone else had this problem?

My best bet is that the problem is caused by certain conflict with videocard. In my experience it's the most common cause of the hangup in the systems. Try to play with BIOS settings for videocard, and/or drivers (if possible). Try that first.
