Hi everyone,
A friend of mine has an original Sound Blaster Live! (from 1998) and is using the original drivers (yeah, I know... but he is an old guy who's forte does not lie with computers). The problem that I am getting is a BSOD reporting an error with EMU10K blah blah blah. I fixed this for him once before, but the problem recently popped up again (by "fixing" i mean that I reinstalled the original drivers and it solved the problem for about 6 months)
His system config is:
PII 400 on an Intel 440BX
64MB RAM running Win98 Standard
IDE hdd and CD-Drive
Tape backup drive
Diamond Viper II video
Sound Blaster Live! Original (1998)
If you have any idea what is causing this and how it can be fixed, please reply. BTW, I will try installing the latest drivers on his machine tomorrow...
Thanks
