Weird requests from netflix subscribers...

I'm working on a project for a marketing class. This is for my MBA.

My request will sound strange but I would appreciate any help.

Request:

When you guys get the Netflix envelope, the flap that is thrown away contains an ad for a movie usually. If this could be scanned and sent in jpg format to an email address I would greatly appreciate it. Please keep the file under 200kb. Please tell me around the date the movie came in and what movie was it.

I know it's a strange request. Thanks to anyone that can actually do this.

I just opened up my latest Netflix envelope and it's an add for a Dell HDTV. Will that work?

Not a scam.

Basically I need large pool of data for some kind of study about box office receipts and exposure.

I figured ATOT had a diverse group of people, and I'm hoping some are getting netflix dvd's around this time and have a scanner.

Yes....any ad!

Done

If I hadn't JUST thrown them in the trash, I'd also be emailing you a picture of the same Dell HDTV ad.

I just pulled a crumpled up Dell HDTV ad out of my trash too. Didn't look to great when I scanned it. Sorry.

Hmmm... I'd help you out but I think we have thrown away that piece of paper from the movie we currently have. I'll check when I get home though (~3 hrs from now).

Sorry, already pitched them, but next shipment I'll see if I can help you out.

Come to think of it, I can't find the little red envelopes for the movies I want to send back today.
