I'm running the same version: IE 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp1.020828-1920. Switching from automatic didn't help. Currently on Adelphia cable, but had the same problem before on SBC DSL. I'm behind a Linksys NAT firewall. Again as I stated above if a search yields more than one screens worth of results if you click on one of the threads then try to go back to your search results you get nada. Less than one screens worth of results and going back is no problem.

I just tried recreating the issue and no luck with any browser. This has to be semething client to server somewhere but what that is at this point is just not obvious. If/When we ever see it we'll look into it.

I posted a similar thread about this problem. I just figured out that if I actually disable HTTP1.1 in IE settings, it works fine, only everything loads sort of slowly now

Interesting, once you disable that you aren't getting compressed content anymore so your page sizes will go from 7-20k or so to 150k depending on the size of the thread. Could be the http compression stuff causing issues here and there for various users, we can't turn that off though.

Same thing here, almost exactly like that.

Following Raynor's example, here's some info from my system:

- OS: Windows XP Professional - Version 2002 - SP1
- Browser: Internet Explorer 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp1.020828-1920. Update versions: SP1; Q328970; Q324929; Q810847; Q810847
- Not using Zonealarm
- My computer is behind a Dlink DI-704 router. (Nuts, just discovered that this is a discontinued product; oh well, it works.)

Using a cable modem connection.

Using a subscriber account.

Some more info: it was that the page was mostly blank until close to the bottom; then it started showing code. That was with HTTP1.1 enabled. I just enabled HTTP1.1 through Proxy Connections. Now the code occupies a lot more of the otherwise blank page.

I can't look into fragmented pages, there is just no way to know how or why you got half a page. Its definitely between you and the server somewhere. Sorry :(

I didn't notice this till I updated IE with the recent critical update and patch.

both reports are from behind firewalls, I am behind a Linksys firewall and have never seen said issue, but I thought it was worth pointing out.

I'll check this out a little bit; I just did a fresh install of Windows XP Pro, with SP1 now too; the back button and search thing seems just fine. I'll visit Windowsupdate and see what happens.

Its happening for me too... Consistantly.

Everytime i search for somethin in FS/FT, click on one of the search results, then hit back, i get this.

Im runnin IE Version 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp1.020828-1920.

I didnt notice the problem either, until i installed sp1 and all the critical updates.

Now it does it EVERY time.

I've still had it happen since the release of the new fusetalk software. It also has happened at another forum I visit which runs fusetalk also.
