I think you mean thunder. Unless you're discussing the sound before a close proximity follower stroke. The build up of steady strain coronal streamers and crackling. Most people don't recall hearing it as the follower stroke kills them in less than 1/40,000th of a second.

Add the crackling of a fire to the list. Especially outdoors in the evening with the sound of crickets and frogs in the distance. :awe:
