Weird RAM slot problem??

Okay I got my 1800+ in today and FINALLY AFTER 1 MONTH -- I got my computer working. Now, the weird thing is, the computer only boots when I have the RAM in the last slot of the mobo. If I have it in any other slot then it lets out a continous, beep, beep, beep... and on and on and on. I USED to be able to put the RAM in whichever slot I wanted but now it only works in the slot 4. Dimm1 supports registered or unbuffered pc2100 - 2700 which I have. (2100). What could be the problem? Bad RAM slots?
