Weird processor info

Ok now this is weird. I OC'd my 2100 to 333 FSB. then I upgraded my bios. Now no matter what program i run, even the CPU checker from AMD, it says i have an Athlon 2700+. Isnt that the strangest thing. Does that mean i can OC some more!! My temp is only 29-30c still?

You could always TRY to go higher...nice temp..but if it does not go any higher...do not blame the temp..you prob have reached the limit of the cpu.

What is strange about that? 13x166 = 2.167 = same frequency as XP 2700+

Is that default voltage? That chip probably has a bit more to give

Yes voltage is default. I just thought AMD's CPU checker would go by a little more than current speed to tel you what kind of processor you have.
