Weird problems with my desktop!

All my icons of my folders and shortcuts have this stupid Napster head stamped on top of them. I know it isn't the icons themselves since when I hit refresh over and over the head disappears and reappears once the refresh is over. There are no unusual programs openned when I hit ctrl+alt+del. I have tried changing the icons to something else and the same thing happens. I am wondering if this is a virus or something? I don't have any anti virus software on my computer right now but I haven't openned anything unusual lately.

napster has a tendency to do that to all my icons when i open up explorer. but not my desktop...whenever i reboot everything is normal

try using TweakUI and repair your icons.

Yes, I have rebooted many many times. I am downloading that x-setup but I don't think it's the icons themselves since the napster head appears after I refresh the screen. As in it disappears during refresh.

arg... this sucks I even went as far as uninstalling napster ans deleting all napster files I could find, still no go!

listen to IcemanJer advice. get that TweakUl and repair...stuff like that happens to me too. you can get it right here
