hey

I purchased a new mobo (A8V-MX) and a Liberty 400W recently. I can't boot or even power up with the Liberty plugged in. But if i use my Antec 450W Smartpower supply from my Sonata 2 case it works fine. I checked the Liberty on two other systems (both nearly new AMD 64 systems) and it works great but why doesnt it work on this mobo???
Any help?

I purchased the liberty to use instead of the stock 450watt antec supply.

the only conclusion seems that u aren't connecting them properly...both work seperately from another. from my understanding the some of the new boards require 2 connections or they won't boot. ... 20 pin power supplies will boot them up though.
 
well i connected the 24 pin and and the smaller 4pin required on this board

can u please explain what u mean by "2 connections"
