Weird problem..

Sometimes when I'm using the computer my mouse cursor just gets stuck and stops moving.. i can still click stuff, but the cursor is literally transparent while the real cursor is stuck in one place. does anyone else ever have this problem? it's REALLY annoying..

it is, like i said, i can STILL move it around, but it's like a transparent cursor. the real cursor image is just stuck where i last moved it.

It must be getting stuck on your monitor. Try cleaning off the sticky patches.

what do you have, an overclocked 486 DX running windows XP?

I've been having the same stuff happening since I reinstalled XP recently. I'm using the computer normally and then the cursor suddenly gets stuck. I can see that the mouse still moves on the screen (because things can be highlighted, etc.), but the cursor is stuck.
It's terribly annoying and I was just searching for a resolution to the problem.
