I don't know if this is the right forum, but I thought maybe this would ring a bell with someone.

Any time my comp is supposed to display a decimal I get some garbage in its place. Ex... on a drive property screen, instead of saying I have free "81.1 GB" it says I have "81=\=1 GB". This is just a single example. After I get another ftp client I will post a screenshot with multiple apps showing the trash.

I have Windows XP pro with sp1 and all current updates. It has been this way for a month or so, and I didn't really notice when it started.
