heyas.. im having a weird problem with an old computer. i just recently formatted it and everything went smooth and it was loading up pretty nice and fast (it's a athlon 1200).
recently it's started having this problem where it takes a really long time at start-up if I don't have any cd inserted in the cd-rom drive
if I have a CD in there then it's fast.. I really seem to have isolated the problem to the cd-rom
i thought it might be auto-insertion and I re-enabled it after nero had disabled it using the registry tweak.. but that didn't fix it
any idea what you could be causing this anyone?
