A friend of mine was having this problem, and can't go to the net. So I'll post his question:
If anyone can help me with this I'd really appreciate it. My cable modem was working just fine today around 5-6am. Went to sleep, woke up and my system had crashed, now I can't access web pages. FTP, Icq, ping, mail, everything it seems except webpages is working. I'm using a straight ip through the gateway, no proxy, tried a proxy to see if it would help, no go there either. All the settings check out, so if you have any clues can you email them to trahloc@webnx.com since I can't access web pages? A friend is posting this for me.
