OK, my dad has a dell computer in the living room, right near the dining room. I'm assuming the same circuit of power flows to the Computer, printer, TV, and mini-refirgerator since they all power down at the same time. Power just randomly shuts off and starts back on. This just started happening right after we had a power outage last week due to windstorms. Now, is this a problem in the wiring of the apartment, or something with the computer? Thanks In Advanced

Are all your appliances jacked into the computer? Unless that's the case, I don't how it could be cuasing the problem...

what I'm saying is that a series of outlets get their power from the same circuit, in this case, all those appliances. It never had a problem before the storm. But now, if i hear the refrigerator *crackle*, it shakes my monitor. I just switched power strips (computer, dsl modem, monitor and speakers were connected to a strip) to see if that will help, i'll let you know.

'scuse me, but suggest you tally up all the devices on the same circuit before the house burns down. You also need to know if your circuit breaker is a 15 or 20 amps rated.
