Weird popping sounds watching the olympics?

Anyone else getting a weird crackle/pop every few seconds? I'm only getting it on NBC, but at first it sounded like my TV speakers were acking up.

Its the fbi. Seems you have been watching to much of the chinese gymnastics.
 
That sound is the Chinese "re-educating" those athletes who lost the previous competition...and re-motivating those who are competing in events yet to come.
 
I get those popping sounds too. I just noticed them today also.

They are pretty few and random. I figure it's just the signal that NBC is sending.
