So am I, and I'm still trying to figure out how to do it without PSing it.

It is a mirror, like stated earlier. He is holding a mirror (the size of a picture) in front of a wall type mirror.

Tripped me out for a second when I saw it.

its more than just that though... becuase you can follow the frame of the mirror all the way around. it has to be photoshopped somehow, or something like that.

yeah, with photoshop.

It was PSed, look at how the frame bends in and loses width toward the top left edge. Plus, the color has been altered right above it. Still cool

That can't be done without Photoshop.
I'm a photographer (not professional, but decent nonetheless) and have studies special effect photography for a while. That kind of thing is done (in this day and age) only with Photoshop.
Back before PS you could probably accomplish that with some creative matting and other developing/exposure tricks but that would be far too much work.

yeah....so? i never said all he would need is a camera and a mirror. i just said he could do it without a problem. so if he needed to use PS, then he needs to.

Man, I wish I had three mirrors right now.

Recursion is rarely met in everyday life and when it is met can cause some surprise. One commonly experienced recursive situation is where two mirrors are placed almost parallel to each other and as someone walks between them they see a reflection in one mirror, which includes the reflection of themselves in the other mirror. This reflection in the other mirror contains a reflection of themselves in the first mirror, which contains a reflection of themselves in the second mirror, etc. etc. The resulting image seen in the mirror is of an infinite sequence of reflections each a little smaller than the previous, disappearing into the distance. When this is experienced unexpectedly, or when it is experienced by a child, the effect is to stop and wonder at it.

EDIT: I said three mirrors because of the one he is holding.

Uhmmm...nice backtrack...lol 😉

It can't be a mirror.

Not only does the frame go into itself, but the "inner" copies are rotated slightly. Tell me how to do that with a mirror.
