Folks,
The specs of my computer are listed in "my rig."

I have a VERY weird computer problem.

I'd turn off my pc before I go to sleep, but the computer TURNS ITSELF back on.

I thought it was the overclocking, but since then, I've "reset" back to stock speeds.

Problem still occurs.

I seriously need some help, its getting annoying to have to unplug the pc each time I turn it off.

Thanks,
Michael

Wild guess here. Would Wake on LAN happen to be turned on in your BIOS? I know of some PCs that will still listen to LAN activity even after a full shutdown and bring themselves back up if the correct packet is sent.

Computer isn't connected to a network though, I have dial-up. But I'll try that.

Yup as others have said, it's definitely wake on LAN.

Go to your BIOS and disable it. Had the same problem w/ my roommates comp a few years back. Thought the computer was possessed :)
