Weird overclocking problem?

I think the basics will work for this question...

MB=Asus AV7133 (lastest bios)
T-Bird 1GHz@1388Mhz (AXHA code)
Cooling-FOP38 with Artic Silver 2
Voltage=1.70 will do 1.65 but IE6 crashs here and there.

Heres the problem, right now I'm running at full load (RC5) and my cpu temp is 41c (105F) and its 100% stable. If I start my computer up at 1.4Ghz, windows loads and everything is fine intill I start RC5. Once my temps reaches 41-43c (105-107F) my computer restarts. It doesnt crash, just restarts and loads windows again as if the power went out and everything is fine intill I start rc5 again. Now this sounds like a heat issuse but why would it work at 1388 at 41c but restart at 1400 at 41c? same temp and its only a 12mhz increase. Ideas?

oh yeah! yes, I have tried to up the voltage to 1.75 and 1.80 without luck and at 1.75 and 1.80 there is a chance my computer will restart at 1388 and I end up backing down to 1360.

Possibility that your CPU is maxed at 1388.
Or, try stepping down the FSB and increasing the multiplier to get 1400 and see what it does.

I had a similar problem, it was my 300-watt power supply. Had to add a second power supply, above 1300MHz their wasn't enough juice.

hey guys i have a 235watt powersupply with a 1ghz T-Bird @ 1130 and i can run it at 1.85volts
i have a geforce2 Pro
2 HD's
12x10x32 CDR + CDRW
52x CD-ROM
12x DVD drive
and three PCI cards installed and its fine! no crashes no matter what i do im really suprised at this!!
