Okay, I've never seen this issue before, and it's very very odd. I've tried a couple of things and nothing has worked thus far, so I am looking for ideas on how to fix this issue or at least figure out what exactly is causing it.

I have an Asus P5K Deluxe Wifi board with a Q6600 (TR U120 Extreme + Scythe 120mm) and 2x1GB Corsair Ballistix 800MHz DDR2.

My current OC is supposed to be 3.0GHz with a 1:1 divider (FSB 333, CPU multi 9x, DDR2667 at 3-4-4-12)

Unfortunately, whenever I boot into windows, the multiplier drops to 6x (the range of the Q6600 is 6x to 9x) and it only does this once in the OS. If I look in the My Computer -> Properties dialog, it shows the correct clock speed as it gets that from the BIOS, although when using CPU-Z or using AISuite (the ASUS Utility) it shows 2GHz (333x6).

Any ideas? I'm stumped.

*sigh*

Nevermind

I figured it out, and it saddens me that I didn't notice it earlier. I'm going to blame it on it being 3AM.
