Throughout the day my internet connection being intermittent. Rebooted the router & modem several times and no difference.

I finally decides to take a look of the modem logs

It kept showing this error message

"DIST: Management Message with unidentified Version->4 - Discard message"

Modem is Motorola SB5120.

What does it mean? Charter is the ISP.

Downstream power level 2 dBmV , Signal to Noise Ratio39 dB

Upstream power level 44 dBmV

If looking at modem's LEDs, I didn't see problems.

Basically it means that Charter is upgrading the area to DOCSIS 3.0 and they're sending a software upgrade push to all modems. Those modems that can take the update will while all the other modems will not. You're using a DOCSIS 2.0 modem so you can ignore it although you might be able to get faster speeds at no additional charge simply by upgrading to a newer modem.
