now at this time i am connectec via wifi and my router shows an ip for this machine....why is this?

something messed up your IP stack.

there are documents on microsoft on how to fix it search "repair TCP/IP stack"

i should have added as soon as i plug in a network cable alll is good. it is only when the network cable is unplugged i get this message. the machine will still connect to the ap and work fine, but this message is created. does that still mean their is an issue?

it doesn't detect the wifi link....but it is there and i can get online, that is what is messing with my mind.
