Weird Loadup probs

Hello, i accidently deleted my partition on my C drive and made another using partition magic, well this formated my HD so i had to go back and do a clan install of windows, but now when i load up windows it comes up with a screen that says which Os i would llike to run it says please select by using up and down arrows, and the options are Windows 2000 pro (which i use) and a unidentified Os on C drive" does anyone know what the problem might be and how i can get rid of it ??? thx.

well, as long as you get into win2000 ok, it's not really a problem. just edit boot.ini in your c: root drive and remove the reference to the unkown operating system.

you can also remove it by right clicking on my computer...going to properties..then getting to the last tab to the right and clicking on "startup and recovery"...you can get rid of the reference there as well
