weird keyboard problem

ok, my z key is working everywhere, i just typed z.

however in games (all games i've tried,) the z key doesn't work. i tried to reset all keys to default so that it could work hopefully but it didn't.

how do i fix this problem? i can't even prone in bf2!

the keyboard is microsoft internet keyboard.
