Weird HTTP Server Problem, Please Help...

okay, here is the situation.

i have a win2kpro box running the latest version of apache, serv-u as a ftp server and mdaemon as a mail server. apache is listening on port 80 and serv-u is listening on 21.

sometimes when i try to d/l a large file via http, the d/l stops, i will hit cancel, restart the d/l and it will continue where it left off. my question is why is it stopping?

i have limited it to just http transfers because i can u/l or d/l via ftp all day and night without one hiccup.

i am on dsl and my isp does not block any ports, in fact i talked to there tech support and they said i could run any type of server, whether it be game, ftp, http, mail, whatever, as long as it was for personal use.

i had this exact problem running win2k serv with iis 5. i have messed with timeouts in the conf file but that does not work. the weird thing is, it is totally random, sometimes it will stop after 2MB, other times i can d/l 50MB. i have tried many different types of software fiewall without any change. any ideas???
