I have the following system:
AMD ATHLON 650
ASUS K7M Stepping 2
GEFORCE 2 GTS
SB LIVE PLAT.
128 MB MUSHKIN HIGH PERF RAM
QUANTUM 27.3 GB HD
Supermicro 760a case
now, here is my problem. i leave my computer on and it shuts down into safe mode and turns my hardisks off. When i come back my computer starts the hardrives again and turns the monitor on. Now, when i go to play any 3d game, it locks up immediately. as soon as the 3D action starts it locks up. Now, when i set my power management settings to never turn off my hardisks or go into safe mode, i never have this problem. i have left the comp. on for 64 hrs straight, came back to it and was still able to play 3 straight hours of quake III, diablo II, and tribes. whats UP????
