This is happening on a vBulletin message board. First, let me say I use a ton of other forums including other vBulletin ones fine with no cookie problems. Ok. I register, confirm, log in, and post a few times. Browse around. Fine. I exit IE, do some things go back. I'm not logged in. Weird because I made sure to say Yes to cookies for this forum in the User CP. Ok. I log in. Every single page I want to do something it makes me log in again! And each time it says Thank you for logging in. It confirms my log in, it works for a page, then it disapears again. I tried restarting. Please, please help. Thanks

After logging in try logging out before leaving. Log back on and then check the box.

Sounds like you have a broken cookie....:p

solution:

Sorry for the problems Phil. I assume you are using IE6, there is supposedly an IE6 cookie settings bug that effects some users when utilizing vBulletin. There are several fixes for the bug but the only one that seems to work for everyone is to simply add our forum domain to your "allow" pages in the advanced cookie settings. Thunderpuck is hosted by GameSpy, and our forums are on the dynamic3.gamespy.com domain. If you will allow that to bypass your cookie security you will not have anymore problems at Thunderpuck.
