Weird Fan RPM readings on A7V

My 2 case fans are reading double the RPM of their rating. The CPU reading is accurate. These reading are the same in the Bios and MBM and Asus Probe -------All double the actual speed of the fan. Any suggestions or solutions or reasons for this ???

Thank you in advance

bios AND pc probe are known to be inaccurate in temperature, so it does not surprise me that they would also not read rpm's correctly.

1) update yours bios

2) see if a new version of pc probe is out

3) if it's still wrong, don't let it bug you..it's not a big deal 🙂

I had same kind of problem, updating BIOS or ASUS Probe doesn't help. I guess monitoring chip just reads RPM's wrong, just live with it 🙂

just make sure they aren't getting double voltage to them! Of course thats immpossible if its plugged in right unless the PS is bad...
