Weird earphone+laptop question

My laptop has this weird this speaker problem where i have to stick a ear phone plug a tiny bit in in order for the speakers to work, then i stick the earphone plugs all the way in in order to listen to my ear phones. its a really weird problem, if i pull the earphone plug completely out the laptop speakers wont make any sound. i checked all my volume levels and they're at what they should me

Sounds like a broken or loose connection internally. Open it up and fix it. Quit being a wuss and posting about it, do something about it!
