weird dsl question

just thought I'd throw this out there... is it possible to run two dsl modems over the same phone line? (different phone jacks, but basically the same line).

just trying to figure out a way to wire both a basement computer and a box in an office on the 3rd floor of a house without running cables through the walls (or on the floor, for that matter) and without using wi-fi.

I guess worst case scenario, we could put one of the phone lines on its own number and get a second dsl account, but I'd hate doing that.

No, but yes if you have two different ISPs with different connection type or different line.
Some of gateways will allow you to have multi WAN connections.

No, it's just no. You cannot run 2 DSL accounts on one line.

Your yes is to multiple internet connections, which is something else entirely, and was not asked by the OP.
