Weird Crysis crash?

I'm having some weird problem with crashes. Every once in a while in Crysis, the game stops responding. Keyboard presses don't register/take a bit to register (I know because if I hit caps lock or w/e the lights on my keyboard don't turn on). The only way out is if ctrl+alt+del registers and I'm able to end the crysis.exe process.

After it stops responding, it just shows what I saw up until it crashed, and the music continued to play. Then, all sorts of weird graphical glitches come up...like, it will render the vegetation that was in front of me with a weird negative color effect, and other odd stuff like that. For that reason, I thought it was because I'm oc'ing my gfx card, but this doesn't happen in any other game. Also, I don't think it's an issue with the card locking up or something because I can still do ctrl+alt+del to get out of the game.

Any fixes for this?

You do realize that Crysis will push your card harder than pretty much any other game out there, right?

Have you tried setting the clocks back to stock?

It may be so many things...

GPU drivers issue
GPU/CPU over-heat issue
Unstable GPU/CPU/Memory over-clocks
Insufficient Power Supply amperage on the 12V rail(s)
Conflicting background programs

Etcetera...

Have rivatuner record your video card temps in the background. Sounds like your card might be overheating. Also, make sure you've installed the latest patches. Crysis would crash on me all the time until I patched it.
