Weird Constant Uploading

I am connected to my school's ethernet. According to DU Meter, I am having an almost constant upload of around 7 kb/sec. I have turned off AIM and Microsoft Update. My school has a ridiculously low bandwith limit, so it is important that I conserve as much as possible. Today, I downloaded 28mb and uploaded nearly 300.

What could be causing this?
 
You got it, IceNineJon. I have the Welchia worm, Norton Antivirus picked it up but couldn't get rid of it, thanks to your link, I now can.
