Wow, I thought that at least Dave would come in here & chime in with a prediction 🙂

I hope you're right, that means a weak one should head this way soon.

It's rained about twice here since June.

Bill sure has some impressive stats. 705,300 killed, 700mph winds.

😕

are we looking at the same Hurricane Bill?

Hurricane Bill
Formed August 15, 2009
Dissipated August 24, 2009
Highest winds 135 mph (215 km/h) (1-minute sustained)
Lowest pressure 943 mbar (hPa; 27.85 inHg)
Fatalities 2 direct, 3 missing
Damage Unknown
Areas
affected Leeward Islands, Greater Antilles, Bahamas, east coast of the United States, Bermuda and Atlantic Canada

It's too bad they're predicting a slow hurricane season. I'll admit - I love watching the fury of nature (from a safe distance.) Just so long as no one gets hurt. Errrr, just so long as no one gets hurt through no fault of their own. Not much we can do about idiots who decide to have hurricane parties at the beach house, or who refuse to evacuate when they live below sea level.
