When I play Crysis the screen has this artifact that takes up the whole top-left fourth of the screen. I'm playing on the system in my sig, my video card isn't OCed right now, and I have the newest nVidia driers. Crysis is the only game that does this.

I actually had a similar problem, but it was more general. UT3 and COD4 wouldn't run at all, and Crysis had a weird white paintbrush-like effect over everything that was under the horizon, even though everything I had was upgraded. What fixed it for me was a complete driver-cleaner pro whipe and reinstall of drivers. Apparently a few registry keys got corrupted during a driver update and caused artifacting in a bunch of my games.

Same here but only in Crysis. It has been doing it with 163.71, 169.01, 169.04 both stock and overclocked.

When I upgraded to the new beta 169 drivers, both versions .01 and .04 created strange visual artifacting over the entire screen when a game loads like CoD4 or Crysis. It requires hitting CTRL+ALT+DEL which brings me back to a nice normal display of the screen, and then hitting Escape to bring me back to the game and everything is fine from then on. Not sure what's up with that.

Just to add to this, I get a 'snow' effect on trees and some foliage when it's somewhat far away. It only happens under DX10. I have an 8800GTS 320mb and the latest .04 drivers (it also affects the .01 betas).
