He's an attention whore.
The best thing you can do is ignore them and never make eye contact.
When they hoop and hollar, ignore them.

I live in New England my whole life and 62F is not short and Tshirt weather.

For a person who lived in warm climates, that is deadfully cold weather.

Me too and yes it is! 50s are where I will start wearing light long sleeves and pants.

I like how everyone just starts saying "so and so temperature is perfect for this type of clothing"... without acknowledging one little problem: what season is it, and what were the previous temperatures, say, for the recent month?

If X temperature is well below temperature Y, X can be potentially described as chilly.
Meanwhile, X, 180 days later, could be well above Z, and be considered very warm.

It's all about what is the norm for that time of year, and the most recent normal temperature.

60F in the middle of summer in the midwest, if it's not sunny (or is at night), and that's good weather to wear jeans. 60F at the beginning of spring, you'll probably be wearing shorts.

My favorite guy in class was the one who would read the whole textbook before the first day of class that way he can try to finish the professor's sentences. That was just so fucking endearing.

Also it's currently 65 degrees and I'm wearing pants and a fleece.

It's funny seeing you northerners down here in Florida all blue and pasty with your arms folded while wearing shorts and pouring down coffee telling everyone you aren't cold.

I don't really get it.

I'd wear jeans and a hoodie to dig my car out in minus 20-30 in North Dakota. The Euro-hipster pansies in this thread would probably shatter like a T-1000, if they didn't just cease to exist

Agreed that the guy from the OP sounds like a tool.

I get what you are trying to say and all, but obviously this guy is a dickscarf and you're kinda putting yourself on that side of the fence. Pick your battles?

Or do you go by 3 names as well. :colbert:

What about if your on your snowmobile?

Also, how about if you are a time traveler? (yes, I realize the Doctor was a superior species, and technically not a mere "man")

A man with a scarf when its not 'freeze your balls off cold' is like a man with a purse. Sure they exist but there is just something that's not right about it.

Bullshit.

It has absolutely nothing to do with what season it is or what the temp was in recent months.
The only thing relevant is your body temperature and how much clothing a particular person requires to stay comfortable.

Anyone who says 60F is cold is an imbecile. Most people would agree that somewhere between 70 and 80 is the ideal temperature as far as comfort goes. So 10 degrees under that range could possible be described as chilly, cool, etc., but it's not fucking cold.
