So, there is a guy in one of my classes who is, well weird and arrogant. I assume he must be a Finance major or something.

Stuff he has done:
On the first day of class he insisted that the Professor call him by all three of his names to make him sound more 'distinguished'.

Today he wore a scarf to class... it was like 62 out at the time.

Also today, we were getting ready to watch a film clip in class and the Professor was having some difficulty getting it to work, after sitting there a couple minutes everyone heard this guy make a call on his phone. What was the conversation? He was confirming his reservations at a restaurant and apparently requesting 'Kirby'. The Professor's comment to his conversation was "I hope you brought enough reservations for the whole class!" which was pretty funny. The guy was even arrogant enough to ask the Professor "Was I holding you up?" which at the time was a backhanded insult.

:)

This is why I could never be a professor... I'd either flip out and beat this guy, or at the minimum just hold on to my hate and fail him on everything he does.

I would have shortened that to "Skippy."

Easier to judge than it is to be proactive, but who cares. Let him live it out. Maybe his parents helped make him become that way, and depending on his circumstances and situations that he will be creating for himself as an adult... may never learn in your style the way students should behave in classroom settings.

We can only wonder where 'those' kinda people have been and where they're going to end up.

But if you asked me, usually if you don't bother them, they automatically associate you as "do not bother", generally. Piss this guy off, he'll attempt to bring hell down on you. There's a similar guy like that in my speech class, kind of a class clown, annoying and rude, but can kick the mood swings high or low depending on the random crap that comes out of his mouth. I say karma, what comes around, goes around.

Most of what you said is definitely weird and/or arrogant. But the scarf thing... Maybe he's from So Cal? Shieieieiiieiieieit 62 here is basically freezing your balls off weather to a lot of West Coasters. I know I'd have on a triple goose down Gortex jacket when the temp drops that low.

62 F is Shirt + Thick hooded sweatshirt + jeans weather.

This usually.

Anything below 70F is usually sweatshirt wearing time and pants as well. (Socks are mandatory!)

I hate having to wear sweatshirts on mixed weather days... cold as soon as you take off the sweatshirt, too hot when you have it on... fucking A. :|

:hmm::hmm:

62f = t shirt and shorts weather (MAYBE long pants if it's cloudy). Where the hell do you guys live that you need to wear a sweatshirt for that kind of weather?

Haha When I was working out in California I did notice this, but me being from Michigan, I'd be basking in the warmth of low 60s. I was comfortable in a T-shirt and jeans today.
