It's free on CL and the ad says 2 people to move it. I don't know the model number. It's supposed to be heavy. If it's a KV-32XBR100, it weighs 165#.
Pic

EDIT
It is a KV-32XBR200 and it weighs 175#.
Looks brand new. i won't have a signal to the new place till the 2nd and i don't have a DVD player there yet so I don't know how it's going to look.
It's supposed to look great.

Oops, maybe not.

I use to lift those onto shelves at the store I worked at...its possible to lift it up a few inches by yourself but you'll never carry it very far on your own without wheels.

I could use my furniture dolly but then I'd have to lift it 3'-4' to the tailgate of my pick up.

You won't be able to do that by yourself...its just too awkward. you could take the dolly up a ramp up into your tailgate no?

someone needs to visit here more often.
😉

The KV-32XBR450 should be 185LBS ... I have the KV36-XBR4500 which is 238LBS .. biggest issue is getting a grip on it as it so darn big.
Best is either with a dolly or a lifting sling like they use for refrigerators and such.

I had the 40-inch XBR before, the last great CRT-based HDTV (normal aspect ratio)
Weight? It was around 310 lbs.

I can lift that much weight, it's just awkward with a 32" TV.

I used to have a 36" XBR... That thing was a great tv, but it was goddamned heavy (broke one stand in its career, actually). ~350lbs.

No kidding. Our 32" HD Vega has made 2 moves. Both times it was put upstairs. It's a bitch to move evn with help. The built in handles aren't very helpful and 90% of that weight is on one side.

I helped a good friend move his Sony WEGA 36-inch hi definition TV from his mini van to his living room.

This Sucker

It weight 238 pounds and no way in hell we could carry it between the two of us without being crippled for life and maybe dropping the TV on the way in. I have a bad back as it is. We ended up sliding it the whole way on cardboard to the porch and down the hall etc.

Now I know another reason why I love my 46-inch Sammy LCD!

38 pounds! 😛
