Sounds like one hell of a deal eh? A person came to my work just now and told my friend who's working there right now that he has 17 WEGA XBR 36" sets that he wants to sell for $500 CDN a pop. He said the boxes are sealed, but if we're interested, we can open them and test them before buying. He also said that he can deliver them in his truck to wherever we want. He said he can sell as little as 1 or all of them if we want. I talked to him on the phone and he said that he'll give me a call tomorrow at work.
Now, what do you think i should do? I'm thinking of grabbing at least one. I would prefer getting one and if everything goes well, buying another half-dozen, but he says that they will probably be all spoken for by tomorrow night. So i don't know. And should i let him deliver to my house so i can test it, or would letting him know where i live be a bad idea? On the other hand, i DO need to test before buying.
