WEGA TV HELP

Iilac

Senior member
I have a 32 fs-16 WEGA tv. On the 4th video output, it seems like the a/v connection on the back of the tv is bad. There is no sound and the video is greyish. I wanted to know if the connectors are bad or the circuit board that the connectors are solider on. Also my wega would make periodic degruss sounds, even when the tv is off. Is this normal?

Thanks
Iilac

I think he means degauss.

No, it's not normal. I don't have a Wega, I have a Toshiba 40H80 but it shouldn't degauss when it's off! I have enough experience with TVs to know this. My crappy 32" 12 year old Zenith has a relay that gets stuck once in a while so I have to smack it but that's ok since i have the Toshiba HDTV. You should get your set looked at under warranty or something, it's not normal.
