According to an interview they did they recorded tons of songs for the newest album *green album* I guess and that the extra songs atleast 9 of them are available for DL on Napster!? The group said "Why not download them, there free on napster! Quit complaining about the album being so short..."

I think the new album is awesome so I am going to check the new songs out.


Go to mtv.com and vote for the Hashpipe video, maybe we can get some of that boy band crap off of the count down

When the video clip finished Kurt Loder was all "They said it not us"
referring to Napster I spose, I know napster sux!
 
actually i think they were being sarcastic about downloading them from napster. u can get live recordings of the new songs but not studio recorded versions. unless i'm behind on my weezer news which rarely happens! 😛
 
They seemed pretty serious, but yeah I thought of that as well. Either way its good to know they have more new stuff out there, I was really impressed with the newest album.

According to the Vj's the song is even titled PIPE lol, after the interview they said that the video for PIPE was a close call for TRL,
I saw the world premiere of the video and I thought they said the title was Halfpipe and then when the title showed it said H***PIPE I thought WTF did they censor HALF?? ROTFLMAO

Maybe we should all vote it on trl and dethrone BSB &amp; NSYNC!!!!

Weezer never mentions smoking the pipe in the song, they just say they have one.

Just about everything on MTV is censored anymore. Gotta tone it down for the &quot;Carson Crowd&quot; I guess. The FCC doesn't have a problem with the word &quot;Hashpipe,&quot; they play it on the radio stations here all the time. How are they announcing the video's title if they don't say hash...

Remember when Aenema came out, and the stinkfist video was on MTV? They wouldn't say the name on the air, they called it &quot;Song 1&quot; or something equally dumb. I remember all of the people that actually thought that was the name of the song...such a disgrace for an awesome song

And speaking of voting for hashpipe, can you still do write in votes for TRL? I remember when a bunch of us on the alt.shenanigans (sp) newsgroup got together and massvoted for some new kids on the block video. It actually got in the countdown....

We should do that again 😀

Are you kidding? They say weed all the time, so they can't say hash? I was watching Dave Chappel (sp?) on Conan, and he must have said weed 20 times... and great person a couple of times too. LOL that was a funny show.
 
Crazy how they can get away with so many things.

Take South Park for instance. The things they say and do on that show (on basic cable) amaze me. I guess it's all about the &quot;warning&quot; infront of the show that allows them to get away with the raceyness.

Maybe the weezer video needs a parental guidance warning before it shows so they can get the word hash in there.


This is from the same band that brought us the wholesome retro flash back &quot;Buddy Holly.&quot; Even Microsoft put the video on their operating system CD. They deserve more slack.
 
actually the word hash is banned in the afternoons around 2-5 or something (can't remember the exact times)?? but after that they can play it as &quot;hash pipe&quot; how dumb is that?
 
Don't think that is true about the times.

I've seen the video late at night (2AM+) on MTV^2 and it was still &quot;H'''pipe&quot;
