Hey guys, so I've decided to make a thread dedicated to my hopefully weekly blog postings. This week's was fairly basic and on general movement descriptions in the lower extremity. I couldn't get the creative juices flowing then, but now... now I have some ideas. Next week, I will discuss nerve symptoms induced by low back dysfunction (due to disc, improper spinal mechanics, bone spurs, etc). In this, I'll talk about dermatomes (area of skin that gets sensation due to certain spinal nerve roots), myotomes, reflexes, and when you should go to the doctor. Nobody likes back pain and nobody likes nerve pain. Hopefully, I can shed some light on this because this is typically a mystery topic when I talk to patients.

If you have general questions about the topic, I'd prefer if you posted it on the blog in the comment section so I can answer it and everyone (including others not on ATHF) can see it. If you have more specific questions or don't want everyone on the blog to see it, you can post here. Thanks!
