In the event we have any non-crunching forum readers who happen to wander into this thread: Distributed Computing is where you allow your computing device (smartphones/tablets included) to work on things like medical research, mathematical stuff, sifting through telescope data to further the field of Astronomy, and many other 'citizen science' projects. It allows networked computers to band together to act as a supercomputer. And you should join us. The focus projects of the past week (going by team production, not necessarily individually) were PrimeGrid obviously, and Minecraft, SiDock, Spacious. With the December PrimeGrid challenge over and our own January Folding@Home record run started, TeAm output at Folding@Home is up now too. Besides these, our weekly team rank during the past week topped our all-time team rank at Einstein, Latin Squares, Rakesearch, YAFU, and Yoyo, and at the non-compute intensive projects Radioactive and WUProp.
