Weekend worker drones check in

I normally work Saturdays 9-6, but they are expecting increased call volume due to the big game this weekend. I got asked to come in at 7. Thats flippin early!

Very grateful to have a job to complain about though....I just don't think that many people are going to call in.

Who else is stuck working this weekend?

I am working Saturdays for the next 8 weeks on a project, starting today. Yay for overtime!! Got to love getting paid. Though sleep would be really nice right now too. Already been here for 2 1/2 hrs and barely got anything done due to a combination of a couple stupid problems and me still in zombie mode for the morning.

BUT, I have tomorrow off. I told my office manager a couple of months ago (at the start of the tax season) that I don't work Sundays. I'm a church-going guy.

I don't think she's figured it out yet that it's the church of the Almighty Pigskin...

But, tomorrow is the last...sermon...of the season.

I'm at work right now. I am so much more productive on the weekends when there are not people around e-mailing and calling me. It's pretty relaxing actually. Plus my office is a freaking mess and need to clean it up.

It's tough to guess and can cary quite a bit depending on time of year and whatever else is going on. This week will probably close to 70ish, but probably in a normal week around 60? :hmm:

Damn I need to get a job. Been less depressed as of late so it's likely I'll be out looking for one soon. Need to do so just for my psyche, even if it's just a retail job. Other things are starting to look up in my life recently though so hopefully things work out.

Btw is that 60 70 hrs all at the office or include work at home.
