About 1 hr 45 minutes ago, connection to Berkeley seems open. Got 47 workunits uploaded to the server in less than 2 minutes.🙂

Maybe I just got lucky but I had been trying since this morning. I change my settings to disable download, enable upload, and preference is upload workunits.

OK's proxy still needs to flush about 1900 work units, and hasn't uploaded a WU in 1.5 hours. 🙁

It seems to me that things should improve over the weekend. All the faculty won't be logging onto their work computers during the day. Students will be sleeping in (me included!). Also, the Super Bowl should be an ample distraction to get people off their computers.

Of course, things could get bogged down regardless, so who knows.

Right now I have the priority set to 'download'.......better to have work to hand out and keep everyone busy than make sure the work gets back.

I have upped the amount to keep on hand.......once this is in better shape I'll set the priority to 'upload' 🙂

Seems to be cooking for me now (on dial-up...49.2kbps connection and the up/down is going just fine...faster than early this morning) (New cable modem coming tomorrow to replace existing one...grrrr)

Connection seems good so have reset the processing to default............an hour of good connection should clear me out 🙂
