BCS is a crackhead computer

head to head obviously doesn't matter much...

ie. MSU, Penn State both lost to Michigan, but Michigan is nowhere to be found.

oh well they don't deserve anything but a kick in the pants this year anyway.

they are undefeated, lol. i think that just furthers the logic to get the biggest powder puff schedule possible.

Michigan has lost 3 games, no wonder they are nowhere to be found.

yeah you're right. losing even two games is pretty hard to overcome, let alone three.

oh well, i can dream of them winning out and somehow taking the Big 10 title. shya

Texas's win over Colorado helped a lot. They were 7th in the computers last week and 2nd this week.

Head to head is way, way too overrated. It is a pretty crappy way of telling who is better.

What I mean is, looking at just one game and ignoring the whole rest of the season is not a good way of judging a team. It is just one game out of a dozen. The other dozen games should count just as much.

No matter how you rank teams in football, about 10%-20% of the teams MUST be ranked lower than teams that they beat. Upsets happen. But that doesn't mean the team that did the upset is better.

Pac 10 has 2 of the top 10, Big 12 has 2 of the top 10, ACC has 2 of the top 10, SEC has 3 of the top 10, Big 10 has 1 of the top 10. I think this is the most balanced among conferences the ratings have ever been.

How does Notre Dame come in that low? They are a GREAT team, and deserve to be in the top 10.

those may be the numbers, but if you ask the usc fanboys the pac10 is CLEARLY the better conference:roll:

Both losses are to teams in the BCS top 25. All 4 wins are against teams not rated. Based on that, one should expect that Notre Dame be rated at around 25th (or lower). It's only because the polls love Notre Dame that they are as high as they are. The computers have Notre Dame 25th.

Remember the BCS computers are not allowed to consider that Notre Dame barely lost it's two games, only that they have 2 losses to USC and Michigan State.

pac 10 is clearly not the best, its clearly not the worst either as many here like to think.
