I have a med-card so not required.... I have a great dispensary right up the street from me in New Haven now!

😉

Affinity Wellness

I used to go to the INSA in Easthampton MA (by Mt Tom ski area) but now that one is medical-only ... swapped with the one in Springfield apparently?

My favorite used to actually be RISE in Amhurst but they also went med-only for some reason.

I would imagine Rise was gettin slammed, as that's the 5 college area.

maybe INSA switched, been a long time. I don't indulge much anymore, I changed a bit in my lifestyle so the medical card not really needed anymore.

New Haven to east hampton though, that's a fuggin' haul bro, lol

I just moved on from a mobile tech support position that had me all over western ma and ct. driving 120+miles one way to repair shit got old but lasted 16 years.

I've done plenty of that kind of thing myself as a courier.... traffic and crazy/stupid drivers these days have sucked any kind of "joy" out of most jobs that involve a lot of driving!

😕

I was making light of the "grey-area" legal situation with weed and state-lines in recent years. Frankly even the feds don't seem to care much anymore despite the "schedule-one narcotic" nonsense.

I don't use it but I'm all in favor of legalizing it, especially if it leads to more medical research on the medicinal benefits of it.
Same here, not a user but in favor of legalizing. I know plenty of people who legitimately use it for medicinal benefits but also know some who use it for recreational purpose.

Decriminalization has worked well in Canada from what I can tell. Not only does the Gov't get revenue but the justice/penal savings are huge as well. The lives of "non-violent offenders" (most drug offences) aren't being ruined for what is essentially a non-problem and I'm personally surprised by some of the people who have started growing, smoking or eating weed products even in their 70's. The son of an 82 year old cowboy that I know in Alberta sent me pics of his dad's crop and Cypress Hill would be proud. The justifications for the years of prohibition seem questionable, to say the least, and more as the club to beat generally marginalized people down with it was used as.

So glad I never accepted a job with GE fixing Cat Scanners all over the mid-west way back when.

you know if you frame your mother the popo will just confiscate her house and you get nothing right? 😛
I would tell her first. A few years ago I helped her with mail in ballot and she voted yes for legalization and made a joke about it so I think it would be cool.

Meanwhile in Thailand.... lol

he kingdom has also loosened local laws around cannabis. Thai drinks and cosmetics companies last year rushed to launch products with hemp and CBD . Thai companies registered to do so could sell cannabis products that contained less than 0.2 tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC

"It will still be considered criminal if you don't have a legal prescription and you have to be a patient of some form of ailment for this to work. Only then will you be able to grow cannabis at home and use it however you like." She added that, even though recreational use of the drug remained illegal, "smoking weed will happen, and there's no way the [government] can stop that."

baby steps i guess....

VT just went rec back on Oct 1st.

Pretty anti climatic really, a lot of people didn't seem to care. Society still functioning as normal, sorry doom n gloomers.

I'm looking forward to seeing how the taxes for it are used.

This is so weird. People in NJ can now order weed online, or go straight to one of the 12 weed shops in the state. I feel like I'm going to break the law and get arrested.

EHT is about 30m drive from my home. I had no idea that I could order this stuff online.

Welcome to freedom.
