Weed beer?

I was having a discussion with a buddy of mine whether it would be possible to brew beer with weed in it since it is related to hops. Would the brewing process destroy the THC? He brews his own beer and smokes the occasional doobie (medical of course :sneaky🙂, so I thought it might be a good experiment for him.

Note: I don't smoke weed (nor have I ever). I'm at work so i didn't want to click on a bunch of pothead messageboards and websites to find out if anyone had ever done it.
 
Its already been done, you can find "Hemp" beer in any liqueur store I go to. And its legal.

For the other variety, also already been done. Check your local SoCal dispensary.
