Basically they get to Azadi Prime, where the weapon is being built. They find it on a planet and it's almost done. Archer goes on a one way mission to destroy it, but is captured. There are suggestions of severe repercussions for the future based on what happens here.

*** SPOILERS ***

The future guy brings Archer to the Enterprise-J at the future battle of procyon. Those transdimensional aliens are invading our galaxy, and the Federation is defending it. Xindi are part of the Federation. The future guy suggests that maybe straight up destroying the weapon isn't the way to go, as they may build another weapon, and the Xindi become a part of the Federation. When Archer is captured, he talks with the Xindi Degra who he did the capture and brainwashing of in a previous episode. He tells Degra of the future. The end of the episode has the Enterprise getting it's ass kicked.

Yep. $5 says that dude from the future that pops up all the time grabs Archer and re-inserts him before he takes off in the shuttlepod, so that he won't waste his time and try to attack again.

If you guys went to the official page and looked at the episode previews, you'd see that in the 2nd episode from now they're "mouring" their lost comrades. Ie... there won't be a "going back in time" fix. In the next episode, there is "dissention" in the ranks of the Xindi.

Nothing will ever top Dallas for the "Go back in time to fix a plot hole" solution. That garbage went for what, three seasons and then all the sudden the dude pops back up like "It was all a bad dream".

I just re-watched the episode, and I realized how much the writers/CGI-guys really hated the crewmen. Between the poor schmuck on fire in Engineering, the nameless guy who took an I-beam to the head, and the 4 crewmen who got a free ride through empty space thanks to a hull breech, they did their damnedest to kill off crewmen. Remind me never to sign up for space exploration. ;)

That is putting is mildly. That ship has more holes than swiss cheese.

Reminds me of that family guy episode where they made fun of star trek (again).

Kirk: Okay, this away mission will be very dangerous, and there's a good chance one of us won't come back. The away team will consist of myself, spock, bones, sulu, and ensign smith.
Ensign: Aw crap.

I believe it was Ensign Ricky. ;)

Anyway, great episode. Only 48 days until the conclusion. :(

was a decent episode, but wasn't awesome. Will be curious how they will end it. From what you guys said, I thought they were going to do more with the Enterprise J. All they did was look out the window.

Actually, I heard that Seth MacFarlene (creator of Family Guy and he does the voices for Peter, Stewey, and Brian) is a pretty big fan of Star Trek: Enterprise. In any event, he is doing a cameo appearance in one of the future season 3 episodes.

Seems like alot of shows will be back in 6 weeks.

Scary thing now is that Enterprise might get cancelled after the end of this season in May.

It'd probably do better if they'd take it off UPN.

I guess people are just tired of seeing the Star Trek franchise. Maybe if they gave it a rest for like 10 years or so...
