After meeting with a few photographers, I realized that photogs charges crazy prices for those lay flat albums. I'm talking $1k+ for a 30 page 8x10 album. Are these albums really that expensive to make or is most of it markup?

Also is there any place where I can get these type of album made myself? I'm decent with photoshop and have made a few photobooks myself which came out very nice.
