Hello.

I am looking for the prices on certain computer parts. I normally use pricewatch but currently it is down. Does anyone know any other website that you can find the prices for computer components.

I apologize if this is in the wrong forum.

😕

I just want to thank everyone for posting. As someone mentioned Pricewatch is back up. I really appreciate all the advice. Here is the list. I hope I didn't miss anyone's suggestion.

pricegrabber.com
amdmb's pricegrabber
pricescan.com
bizrate.com
mysimon.com
froogle
shopper.cnet.com
nextag
www.guru3d.com
www.resellerratings.com
smartshop
pricescan
Pricing Network
http://www.streetprices.com
http://www.ibuyer.net
http://shopper.cnet.com
http://www.bizrate.com

I know this makes everything longer, but where should I have posted this?

I like froogle for general things, and shopper.com is pretty good for retail computer stuff. Pricewatch was best for OEM stuff.

Yes it is the wrong forum. On the other hand you got your answer before this is locked. Dont know if that is good or bad.

Thanks all for the contributions, despite this being the wrong forum. Many people will benefit.

If BG4533 had it his way, all the contributing posts would be deleted, and the Sephiroth stoned to death for posting in the the wrong forum AND getting his answer. Then he would not have to make such difficult decisions about where to stand on life situations like this, and he could browse the forums peacefully and without worry. Isn't freedom wonderful?

That's what I'd do. 🙂 If people post in the wrong forum, AND get an answer, then there really doesn't seem to be anything wrong with posting in the wrong forum AND/OR not reading the forum rules, is there?

wow, mods must be asleep at the lock and delete button... this is the kind of posts that i like to see... brings back back memories of the OLD AT, before everyone got all paranoid and nasty... w00t for everyone involved...

This is turning from a wrong forum question into a hotdeal kind of post !! keep it a live .. nothing wrong with knowledge.

If you don't want the thread locked I'd recommend taking all the web site suggestions that have been mentioned and putting them all in your first post. It would then be a pretty useful thread in the hot deals forum.

It's been here 2 days.

They should start a "Negative Ninny" forum... All Negative Ninny posts would result in only being able to view that forum for a week. 😀
