I remember a website existing with a database of basically all CPUs from AMD/Intel from the 90s to modern day detailing die size/transistor count/all kinds of information about the architecture. I can't seem to find anything via Google search and I forget the name of the site....does anyone here know what I'm talking about?

Unless they've changed radically I don't think that's the site I'm thinking of...and it doesn't seem to have transistor/die size info?

http://www.sandpile.org/ had such info, now it seems they removed CPU model data.

I find this wiki page and the "See also" links pretty handy. It's not perhaps as detailed as you'd like though
